Attock (Pakistan Point News – 26th July, 2018) Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate Tahir Sadiq has won NA-56 with 163325 votes. According to the results announced by Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate won in NA-56 Attock-ll constituency with 163325 votes. In 2013 general elections, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate Imran Khan was elected as Member Provincial Assembly (MPA) with 80577 votes. The second runner up was Pakistan Muslim League (N) candidate Muhammad Hanif Abbasi who got 67221 votes.
At least 19 candidates from different political parties and independent candidates contested in NA-56. In 2013 elections, there were 288423 voters registered in NA-56, out of which 161627 votes were polled out. In 2013 elections, the voter turn-out from this constituency was recorded as 56.04 %.
