Swabi (Pakistan Point News – 26th July, 2018) Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate Asad Qaiser has won PK-44 with 31658 votes. According to the results announced by Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate won in PK-44 Swabi-II constituency with 31658 votes. In 2013 general elections, Independent candidate MUSHTAQ AHMAD GHANI was elected as Member Provincial Assembly (MPA) with 25576 votes. The second runner up was Pakistan Muslim League (N) candidate INAYAT ULLAH KHAN JADOON who got 19770 votes.
At least 20 candidates from different political parties and independent candidates contested in PK-44. In 2013 elections, there were 137873 voters registered in PK-44, out of which 78113 votes were polled out. In 2013 elections, the voter turn-out from this constituency was recorded as 56.66 %.
