Vehari (Pakistan Point News – 26th July, 2018) Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate Rai Zahoor Ahmad has won PP-233 with 35007 votes. According to the results announced by Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate won in PP-233 Vehari-V constituency with 35007 votes. In 2013 general elections, Pakistan Muslim League (N) candidate Ch Irshad Ahmad Arain was elected as Member Provincial Assembly (MPA) with 40091 votes.
The second runner up was Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate Muhammad Shahbaz Ahmad Dogar who got 22913 votes. At least 25 candidates from different political parties and independent candidates contested in PP-233. In 2013 elections, there were 162588 voters registered in PP-233, out of which 93799 votes were polled out. In 2013 elections, the voter turn-out from this constituency was recorded as 57.68 %.
