Sheikhupura (Pakistan Point News – 26th July, 2018) Pakistan Muslim League (N) candidate Mian Jalil Ahmed has won PP-139 with 30994 votes. According to the results announced by Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), Pakistan Muslim League (N) candidate won in PP-139 Sheikhupura-V constituency with 30994 votes. In 2013 general elections, Pakistan Muslim League (N) candidate Bilal Yasin was elected as Member Provincial Assembly (MPA) with 44670 votes.
The second runner up was Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate Mazher Iqbal Bhalli Butt who got 25802 votes. At least 22 candidates from different political parties and independent candidates contested in PP-139. In 2013 elections, there were 162347 voters registered in PP-139, out of which 82573 votes were polled out. In 2013 elections, the voter turn-out from this constituency was recorded as 50.86 %.
