Gujranwala (Pakistan Point News – 26th July, 2018) Pakistan Muslim League (N) candidate Shaukat Manzoor Cheema has won PP-51 with 59267 votes. According to the results announced by Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), Pakistan Muslim League (N) candidate won in PP-51 Gujranwala-I constituency with 59267 votes. In 2013 general elections, Independent candidate Ghazanfar Abbas Chheena was elected as Member Provincial Assembly (MPA) with 64197 votes.
The second runner up was Independent candidate Ahmad Nawaz Khan who got 55791 votes. At least 12 candidates from different political parties and independent candidates contested in PP-51. In 2013 elections, there were 193175 voters registered in PP-51, out of which 137762 votes were polled out. In 2013 elections, the voter turn-out from this constituency was recorded as 71.31 %.
