Nawaz Sharif will live in the barrack where Yousaf Raza Gillani served his sentence while Maryam Nawaz is being kept in Ayan Ali’s barrack.
Rawalpindi (Pakistan Point News – 14th July, 2018) Nawaz Sharif and his daughter Maryam Nawaz reached Lahore airport last night from where they were arrested and shifted to Adiala Jail.
Nawaz Sharif, Maryam Nawaz and Capt (r) Safdar are being kept in the same compound while they have different rooms. The three can meet in the compound.
About the barracks allotted to Nawaz Sharif and Maryam Nawaz in Adiala Jail, it has been learned that former prime minister Yousaf Raza Gillani and accused in Currency smuggling case Ayan Ali were also kept in these barracks.
According to media reports, Nawaz Sharif will live in the barrack where Yousaf Raza Gillani served his sentence while Maryam Nawaz is being kept in Ayan Ali’s barrack.
Nawaz Sharif and Maryam Nawaz are being kept in B-class of Adiala Jail. These B-class barracks have fans only and the both of them spent the night without air conditioner. The B-class jail has facilities such as a 21-inch television, newspapers, a bed and fan.
The Accountability Court of Islamabad Friday night issued imprisonment warrants for former prime minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif and his daughter Maryam Nawaz after the convicted persons were arrested by the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) from Lahore airport and later shifted them to Islamabad.
The accountability court would conduct further hearings in remaining two graft references pertaining to Al-Azizia Steel Mills and Flagship Investment against Nawaz Sharif in the premises of Adyala Jail under Section 16 of the NAB ordinance.
