Nawaz Sharif's grandsons were arrested for physical assault
Lahore (Pakistan Point News – 13th July, 2018) The London police has released Nawaz Sharif’s grandsons Junaid Safdar and Zakariya Hussain.
According to media reports, the London police interrogated the two and released them then.
The British authorities had arrested former Pakistani prime minister Nawaz Sharif's grandsons on Thursday over a scuffle outside Avenfield House, the Metropolitan Police confirmed.
A verbal exchange of barbs was quickly followed by a physical brawl between PMLN opponents and Maryam Nawaz’s son Junaid Safdar and Hussain Nawaz’s son Zakariya Hussain.
The London Metropolitan Police soon reached the scene of the fight and arrested the two grandsons for hitting a young man.
Meanwhile, Junaid Safdar alleged that the protesters camping outside the Avenfield House for a few days had spit on him and tried to attack him. They also threw an umbrella on him, he added.
