Lahore (Pakistan Point News – 28th June, 2018) In another shocking revelation about the assets of political leaders revealed in the nomination papers, an election candidate having zero assets have surfaced.
In the nomination papers submitted by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Muhammad Khan Madni, he has shown only one bed and two sofas in his assets.
Muhammad Khan had contested against Hamza Shehbaz Sharif in 2013 elections and got 40,801 votes. He will contest against Hamza this time too from NA-124. However, the PTI has not yet allotted a ticket to him.
His total assets are zero while Hamza has shown his assets worth Rs 15 crores.
The political leaders have submitted their nomination papers in the Election Commission which have been scrutinised. The political leaders are required to reveal their assets and sources of income in the nomination papers.
The official assets of several politicians, including Imran Khan, Aleem Khan, Maryam Nawaz, Shehbaz Sharif, Khawaja Saad Rafique etc have come off as a surprise to many as some were too low and some were too high.
The general elections 2018 are scheduled to be held on July 25.
