Qamarul Islam’s 12-year-old son to run election campaign against Ch Nisar

The PMLN candidate was arrested by NAB in Punjab Saaf Pani Company corruption case yesterday

Taxila (Pakistan Point News – 26th June, 2018) The 12-year-old son of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PMLN) candidate Qamarul Islam, who is arrested by National Accountability Bureau (NAB), is carrying out his father’s election campaign.

He asked the voters of his constituency NA-59 to support his father. Salar islam requested all the people, including elderly brothers, to become his strength.

According to media reports, 12-year-old Salar said in a video message that NAB has arrested his father after calling him to its office. My father has not returned since he went to NAB’s office, he said, and added that he kept waiting to meet his father outside the NAB office yesterday.

Little Salar has announced to carry out his father’s election campaign. He said that he would not allow opposing candidate Ch Nisar to benefit from Qamar’s arrest. Ch Nisar would have to face a strong competition, he added.

The NAB Lahore arrested PMLN ticket holder from NA-59 Rawalpindi-III Qamar in connection with Punjab Saaf Pani Company corruption case.

The PMLN candidate is accused of having awarded contracts for 84 water treatment plants at a higher price.

According to the NAB, Qamar misused his position and awarded contracts at a higher rate.

The arrest came a day after the PMLN fielded him against disgruntled PMLN leader Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan in NA-59.
