The condition of Begum Kulsoom Nawaz has deteriorated after cardiac arrest
Islamabad (Pakistan Point News – 15th June, 2018) Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan has extended prayers for Kulsoom Nawaz.
The wife of former prime minister Nawaz Sharif, Begum Kulsoom Nawaz, was shifted to intensive care unit (ICU) of a London hospital after her condition further deteriorated.
Sources said that Begum Kulsoom collapsed in the ICU after a cardiac arrest, and has not since regained consciousness. She has been kept on ventilator, life-support machine and emergency medicine.
She was taken to emergency unit last night as her condition deteriorated.
The PTI chairman has also wished her quick recovery.
In a tweet on Friday, Khan said, “All our prayers are with Begum Kulsoom Nawaz. May Allah grant her Shifa e Kamila.”
Nawaz’s wife Kulsoom is suffering from cancer. She is under treatment in a hospital in London. Nawaz and his daughter had not been able to stay with ailing Kulsoom in London due to the court hearings. However, the two decided to spend EId-ul-Fitr in London with Kulsoom Nawaz.
They reached London via Doha on Thursday.
