National Ambulance increases resources in preparation for Eid-al-Fitr

ABU DHABI, (Pakistan Point News - 13th Jun, 2018) National Ambulance has announced that it has taken all emergency preparation and proactive measures for the upcoming Eid al-Fitr period. This comes as part of an integrated pre-emergency plan to increase emergency resources by 20 percent leading to maximum readiness to ensure public safety and preparedness to deal with emergency situations and potential road traffic accidents across the northern emirates.

As part of the pre-emptive preparations, National Ambulance will work closely with its strategic partners at the Ministry of Interior, mainly the police and Civil Defence, as well as the Ministry of Health and Prevention and its hospitals.

The National Ambulance will be activating its proactive emergency plan for public holidays, which will raise levels of readiness and alertness through the re-distribution of medical emergency crews and putting extra ambulances on roads. These additional resources will be deployed around hot spots and vital roads according to data collected by National Ambulance and shared by strategic partners.

Commenting on the announcement, Ahmed Saleh Al Hajeri, Deputy CEO of the National Ambulance, said, "Our dedicated team of ambulance crew and communications centre will be on full alert, and efficiently coordinating with strategic partners to respond and deal with emergency calls and incidents that may arise during this period; ensuring that the public receive the most effective assistance possible."
