Social media helps man find lost bag

ISPR DG also shared video, assisted Shabbir

Islamabad (Pakistan Point News – 11th June, 2018) A video went viral on social media where a man tells that he lost his bag while travelling from Rawalpindi to Skardu.

Shabbir said that the bag fell from the roof of the bus, adding that the bag had important documents in it.

He said that his father is under treatment for brain tumor in CMH and the bag has important reports regarding his disease. He said that his father will not be treated if he does not find those reports.

He appealed the social media users to share the video and to contact him if someone finds his bag.

The video was also shared by ISPR DG Major Gen Asif Ghafoor on Twitter.

“Request, please help our this Pakistani brother. And dear Shabbir if u see this tweet please share your cell number through my inbox for assistance at CMH,” the ISPR DG wrote.

A few hours later, Major Ghafoor informed that Shabbir has found his bag.

“Thanks to all Pakistanis including media for prompt response. Bag found. Being delivered. That’s being a great and responsible nation. And all assistance in CMH made available to Shabbir,” he said.

Renowned journalist Hamid Mir also informed that bag of Shabir was found by one citizen Haq Nawaz. He contacted ARY and informed that Bag was handed over to Natco office in Gilgit.

Major Ghafoor thanked Mir over the news.
