Iranian forces fired mortar shells in Balochistan

Quetta, (Pakistan Point News – 29th September, 2016) : Pakistan is facing unprovoked firing attacks at almost all its front lines. Earlier today, India resorted to unprovoked firing at the LOC in Kel and Lipa sectors. Recently Iranian border forces fired mortar shells in Pakistan’s territory, in Balochistan province. According to the media reports, there were three shells fired in city of Panjgur, however no loss of life was reported. Pakistani security official said that the explosions created panic among people living in the vicinity. The border between Iran and Pakistan stretches to lengths 900-kilometer, both of the countries vowed to increased cross border intelligence coordination to improve security situation. Iran has violated border treaty several times and Pakistani counterparts have several times raised this issue in Joint Pakistan-Iran Border Session.
