There are many leaders who joined PTI after leaving their parties but could not get a ticket.

Islamabad (Pakistan Point News – 9th June, 2018) The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has excused from awarding ticket to party leader Babar Awan as several party leaders remained deprived of election tickets in the list issued by the party yesterday.

According to media reports, the process of awarding tickets to election candidates is underway. However, there are many leaders who joined PTI after leaving their parties but could not get a ticket. These include PTI’s own leaders as well.

Sources said that the PTI’s parliamentary board has excused from awarding ticket to Babar Awan.

Babar Awan has served as law minister previously and joined PTI after leaving Pakistan People’s Party (PPP). Awan is also a member of PTI’s legal committee on Panama Leaks.

The decision to award them tickets is now conditioned to the opinion of other party members about them. The decision regarding the two leaders will be made after taking opinion from other party leaders and locals of their Constituencies. The final decision will be made after receiving party leadership survey report.

On the other hand, the MPA from Firdous Ashiq Awan’s constituency in Sargodha has also not been decided. Sources said that the party leadership is not satisfied with the MPAs Awan wants to bring that’s why the decision to award her a ticket will be taken after deciding about the MPA.
