Two including a cop died while three policemen among four people were injured in separate road accidents here on Thursday.
Khairpur, (Pakistan Point News - 7th Jun, 2018) : Two including a cop died while three policemen among four people were injured in separate road accidents here on Thursday. According to details, headed by SHO Akri police station Muhammad Bachal Qazi, comprising ASI Akber and two cops, a police team in private car was going to conduct a raid. The car was hit by an over speeding trailer at National Highway near Ranipur. As a result of accident Assistant Sub Inspector (ASI) in charge police post Karundi Akber Khaskheli died on the spot while SHO Akri police station Muhammad Bachal Qazi and two constables were seriously injured.
The trailer driver fled the scene of the accident. A 10-year-old girl Savera Gilal died while a youth Munawar Gilal was seriously injured when a motorcycle slipped and rubbed with the ground at Larkana-Khairpur Road near Ranipur. The bodies and injured of both accident were shifted to different hospitals of respective areas. The police impounded the trailer and after registering a case against driver at large started efforts for his arrest.
