The federal Interior Ministry has prepared a summary for Eid-ul-Fitr holidays.

Islamabad (Pakistan Point News – 7th June, 2018) The Federal government has announced Eid-ul-Fitr holidays from June 14 till June 18.

According to media reports, the Interior Ministry has announced this good news for private and government employees.

According to the summary, the Eid holidays are expected to be given from June 14, Thursday, till June 18, Monday.

A notification from caretaker government will soon be issued in this regard.

Meanwhile, the Met Office has made a prediction about sighting of Shawwal moon.

According to Met office, scientifically, Shawwal moon is less likely to be sighted on 29 Ramadan.

The Met office has sent details regarding the age of Shawwal crescent to the Ministry of Religious Affairs.

According to the Met office, the Shawwal crescent will be born on June 14 at 12:45am. The crescent could be seen on the sky for 39 minutes after the sunset. The age of the moon will be 19 minutes 3 minutes after the sunset.

In case the moon is sighted on 29 Ramzan, Eid-ul-Fitr will be celebrated on June 15. Otherwise, it will be on June 16.
