Lahore (Pakistan Point News – 31st May, 2018) Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has decided to nominate senior defence analyst Dr Hassan Askari Rizvi and former Khyber Pakhtunkhwa IGP Nasir Durrani for the position of caretaker Chief Minister of Punjab.
According to media reports, the PTI has again given its nominations for Punjab caretaker chief minister after consultation within the party. PTI will send these nominations to the Election Commission.
According to PTI, Dr Hassan Askari and Nasir Durrani are well-reputed personalities.
Earlier, the PTI had suggested former bureaucrat Nasir Mahmood Khosa’s name for caretaker chief minister.
However, it took a U-turn on Wednesday and decided to withdraw the name of Nasir Khosa for caretaker Chief Minister of Punjab.
