Lahore (Pakistan Point News - 31st May, 2018 ) According to a Gilani Research Foundation Survey carried out by Gallup & Gilani Pakistan, Just over half Pakistanis (53%) opine that transgender are not treated with respect in our society. 29% say otherwise. A nationally representative sample of men and women from across the four provinces was asked, “Some people are of the opinion that Transgender are not treated with respect in our society, while some think otherwise. What is your opinion on this?” In response to this question, 29% said transgender are treated with respect and 53% said they are not treated with respect. 18% did not know or did not wish to respond.
