NAB has also prepared summary to put 25 names in ECL
Lahore(Pakistan Point News – 31st May, 2018) The National Accountability Bureau has decided to take major steps once the Federal government completes its term.
According to a report published in a local newspaper, NAB has devised a strategy to move forward from summons and inquiries. Some key decisions have also been made in this regard.
These cases will be taken to their logical conclusion. If the case has nothing solid, it will be ended. In the opposite situation, the accused will be arrested. Arrests on large scale will be started in the next few days.
The main characters of Punjab companies scandal will also be brought forward. Sources said that if a high profile politician or bureaucrat does not come out of the inquiry, know that they have been arrested.
In another development, NAB has prepared a summary to put the Names of at least 25 people in the Exit Control List (ECL). These include Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain, Chaudhry Pervaiz Ilahi, Monis Ilahi, Railway Minister Khawaja Saad Rafique, Punjab minister Khawaja Salman Rafique, Pyragon City CEO Nadeem Zia, PTI leader Aleem Khan, prime minister’s Principal Secretary Fawad Hassan Fawad, former LDA DG Ahmad Khan Cheema, Punjab Primary health secretary Ali Jan, and specialized health secretary Najam Shah.
The Foreign Ministry of caretaker government will be requested to put the names of these people on the ECL after official approval from NAB chairman.
The NAB officials are concerned that politicians and bureaucrats involved in these high profile countries can flee the country. Therefore, preparations have been made to put their names in the ECL.
