Says I'm not a feminist but i believe in equality
Mumbai (Pakistan Point News – 26th May, 2018) Bollywood actress Kareena Kapoor still continues to face backlash on Twitter following her controversial statement on Feminism.
Kareena was asked about Feminism at the music launch of her upcoming movie Veere di Wedding. Kareeana refused to own herself as a feminist in her confusing response.
“I believe in equality. I wouldn’t say I am a feminist, I would say I am a woman and above all, I am a human being. I am also as proud to be known as Saif Ali Khan’s wife, as I am to be Kareena Kapoor. So that is just the way I am,” Kareena said.
Twitterati definitely didn’t like Kareena’s version of feminism and she is being heavily trolled since. The Bollywood actress continues to be lectured on Twitter over feminism – a term that has become too hard to understand it seems.
