Karachi (Pakistan Point News – 21st Apr, 2018) Karachi’s famous Do Darya is closing down after Ramzan for the place is needed to build sky-rocketing buildings.
In a post on their Facebook page, Karachi Waley came out to condemn the closing of their favorite place and the comments on the post made us even sadder.
Do Darya is a dining spot near Karachi’s Arabian Sea. The view at Do Darya is what makes this place favorite visiting spot for the people of Karachi and other tourists. The evening smooth breeze, the noisy sea waves along with good food served at the restaurants there is what makes this place a treat to visit.
For what is known to be the city of lights will get deprived of much of its illumination after Do Darya is replaced. People are even demanding of the chief justice to take an action over it.
Nonetheless, for whatever development purposes the place is closing down, we can only hope that it proves to be fruitful for the people of Karachi.
