At least five people including three children died in separate incidents in different localities here on Monday.
Khairpur/ghotki, (Pakistan Point News - 23rd Apr, 2018) : At least five people including three children died in separate incidents in different localities here on Monday. Police said that accused Basharat Sawand opened indiscriminate fire his wife Mst Maryam Sawan inside his home in village Sundrani near Mirpur Mathelo in Ghotki over karo-kari charges. The woman was killed on the spot and the accused fled the scene after committing the crime. A child Siraj Ahmed Channer died of measles in village Mubarak Channer in Mirpur Mathelo. Measles claimed lives of two children including Nadeem 03, and Maqbool Ali Sodhar in village Sodhar Bozdar Wada, in Khairpur. In village Choondiko of Khaipur, driver of tractor trolley was crushed to death after he fell down on road and ran over by the uncontrolled vehicle.
