According to details, groom Hafiz Salman Shahid wore gold worth Rs 2.5 million on his wedding day leaving behind the brides who are meant to wear gold on such occasions. Shahid wore gold shoes worth Rs 1.7 million along with a gold tie of about half a million. Not only that, his wedding attire embellished with crystals and jewels cost about Rs 63,000. Security guards were appointed to guard Shahid on his wedding day. The groom said that he has always wanted to wear something unique on his big day. Shahid is the only brother of seven sisters and the parents could not refuse to their son’s demands.
