Pakistan has eight cities in the list of 100 rapidly expanding big cities of the world
Karachi (Pakistan Point News - 2nd Apr, 2018 ) Pakistan has eight cities in the list of 100 rapidly expanding big cities of the world. Gujranwala ranks at 27th in the list and 1st in Pakistan making it the fastest expanding city of the country while Faisalabad lies at 33rd, Rawalpindi 34th, Peshawar 36th and Karachi at 39th position in the list. Chinese city of Beihai tops the list and is the fastest expanding city of the world. This city is expanding by 10.58%. Indian city Ghaziabad and Yemen’s city Sana’a are on second and third number respectively. Afghan capital Kabul lies on 5th number while Bangladesh’s Chittagong is on 10th number. A total of eight cities from Pakistan are named in the list, including Gujranwala at 27th position, Faisalabad 33rd, Rawalpindi 34th, Peshawar 36th, Karachi 39th, Lahore 41st, Multan 45th, and Hyderabad at 54th position.
