OGRA recommends reducing petrol prices from April 1

There is a possibility of some changes in the prices of petroleum products as Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has recommended a reduction of Rs 5.26 in petrol prices

Islamabad (Pakistan Point News - 30th Mar, 2018 ) There is a possibility of some changes in the prices of petroleum products as Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has recommended a reduction of Rs 5.26 in petrol prices. The authority has, however, recommended an increase of 13 paisa per liter in Kerosene oil, 55 paisa in light diesel and 65 paisa in high speed diesel. A summary in this regard has been sent to Petroleum Division and Finance Ministry on Friday. After the approval of the summary, the price of petrol will come to Rs 82. According to sources, petroleum prices will not be decreased according to the recommendations of OGRA. However, it is expected that the petrol prices will be reduced by Rs 3. The authority will decide making any changes in the prices of petroleum products only after an approval by Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi.
