Islamabad, (Pakistan Point News - 14th Feb, 2018) : President Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and former prime minister, Mian Nawaz Sharif after his disqualification by the five-member bench of Supreme Court (SC) on July 28, 2017 was suggested to travel to Lahore by air but he refused. Well placed sources told INP on Wednesday that after his disqualification for public offices by five-member bench of SC on July 28, a close relative of Nawaz Sharif during one on one meeting asked him to fly to Lahore but he rejected the proposal.

The stated person also called a senior member of PM House for making arrangement of plane which can airlift Nawaz Sharif to Lahore but the proposal was rejected by him (Nawaz) saying you should leave I will inform you about the issue later. Later, after Shahid Khaqan Abbasi was elected as Prime Minister, 12 senior members of the party during a meeting in Murree agreed upon Nawaz's departure for Lahore through motorway. Sources said that the person who had suggested Nawaz Sharif to travel to Lahore by air hails from Lahroe, Though he is not currently serving in PM office but he still holds a key position in the party.

It should be mentioned that during a meeting of PML-N Parliamentarians and senior leader of party with Nawaz Sharif in Punjab House a day earlier, the PML-N chief during conversation with State Minister Talal Chaudhry had said that was there any person here who suggested me to travel to Lahore through motorway but there was one person who suggested me to travel by air.
