The court schedules the formal framing of charges for July 25 and adjourned proceedings in the cases for two weeks
KARACHI: (UrduPoint/Pakistan Point News-July 10th, 2026) A judicial magistrate in Karachi's South district has fixed July 25 for the indictment of Anmol alias Pinky, who is facing multiple cases related to alleged drug trafficking.
During the hearing, the court scheduled the formal framing of charges for July 25 and adjourned proceedings in the cases for two weeks.
According to the jail authorities, copies of the charge sheets and witness statements in six cases have been provided to the accused inside the prison. The documents were personally delivered to the suspect by prison staff in compliance with the court's directives.
The police said the cases against Anmol were registered between 2020 and 2022, alleging involvement in narcotics-related offences. Investigators stated that the accused had remained a proclaimed absconder in these cases for several years.
According to the police, Anmol was formally arrested in the pending cases after being taken into custody in connection with a separate case registered at Garden Police Station.
The court is expected to formally indict the accused at the next hearing before the trial proceeds.
