Gwadar, (Pakistan Point News – 1st September, 2016) : Prime Minister Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif inaugurated a series of developmental projects for Balochistan on Thursday, September 1. These projects include a dam, Gwadar Free Zone, business Complex and a University, all aimed at mainstreaming the country's remotest areas. Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif was accompanied with Governor Balochistan Mohammad Khan Achakzai, Chief Minister Nawab Sanaullah Zehri, Gen.

(Retd) Qadir Baloch, Minister for Planning Ahsan Iqbal, Minister for Ports and Shipping Mir Hasil Bizenjo and National Security Advisor Gen. (Retd) Nasir Janjua accompanied the Prime Minister and China's ambassador to Pakistan Sun Weidong. PM said while addressing to the attendees of the event that Gawadar is going to be vital city of the country adding that as many as 50 thousand people will get employment from projects initiated in the city.

He added more, after laying the foundation stone of Free Trade Zone and modernize airport in Gawadar that he had seen earlier that Gawadar is going to be international city and its practical presentation happened today. He said that he is felicitous with the progress of Gwadar. The PM Nawaz Sharif said that Gawadar is Pakistan and Pakistan is Gawadar and all the projects initiated in the city will provide employment to 50 thousand people adding that roads network are also being laid in the city.

He further said that terrorism is taking last breath in the country and Baluchistan province is turning into land of peace. He also adores Pak-China friendship by saying China a friend of all seasons. China is contributing and supporting Pakistan for a long time and played a great role to improvise not only Pakistan’s infrastructure but power and economic sector also. Projects worth billions of rupees will bring progress and prosperity in Balochistan.
