A decision to this effect has been taken at a meeting of the election commission chaired by Chief Election Commissioner Sikandar Sultan Raja in Islamabad today for the convenience of the general public.
ISLAMABAD: (UrduPoint/Pakistan Point News-Oct 24th, 2023) Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has extended the date for vote registration, transfer and data correction till Saturday.
A decision to this effect was taken at a meeting of the election commission chaired by Chief Election Commissioner Sikandar Sultan Raja in Islamabad today for the convenience of the general public.
Earlier, the election commission had fixed 25th October as the last date for vote registration, transfer and correction of data in the electoral rolls.
The election commission has appealed the public to take advantage of this extension in deadline.
Form 21 is available on the election commission website www.ecp.gov.pk which can be downloaded for vote registration and transfer.
This form needs to be submitted with District Election Commission office after filling it out.
All Pakistanis aged eighteen years and above, including women, youth, minority communities, persons with disabilities, transgender community and all disadvantaged sections of the society, can send their identity card number on 8300 to check the information regarding their vote.
