Islamabad, (Pakistan Point News – 16th August, 2016) : Prime Minister Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif meet with Chairman Wapda Zafar Mahmood. Chairman Wapda briefed on Hydroelectric projects. PM directed the Chairman Wapda to accelerate work on the ongoing projects. PM said that Wapda has to play an active role by using Hydro-power resources efficiently. Our aim is to provide electricity to the people on low rates. Consumers will get a relief with the production of cheat and environmental friendly electricity. He added that we have to resolve the water shortage problem as well for which it is mandatory to take some important measures. Load shedding and water shortage will be reduced with the construction of Hydro resources.
