MOSCOW (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 23rd September, 2021) Baring Vostok investment fund founder Michael Calvey assured on Thursday that he remains optimistic about the Russian market and intends to continue investing in the country.
In August, a court in Moscow handed Calvey a 5.5-year suspended sentence for embezzlement.
Speaking at the 21st Investment Conference of the American Chamber of Commerce in Russia, Calvey explained his plans to keep investing in the Russian market, praising low tax rates, Currency exchangeability, inflation rate, and low public rate to GDP ratio.
