MOSCOW (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 07th May, 2021) White House spokesperson Jen Psaki announced her plans to leave the post within a year.
In CNN's "The Axe Files with David Axelrod" podcast Psaki said that she had talked with the administration of President Joe Biden about a roughly one-year work as the White House press secretary.
"I think it's going to be time for somebody else to have this job, in a year from now or about a year from now," Psaki said.
Psaki held several senior communications positions - including a spokesperson for the Department of State in 2013-2015 and a White House deputy communications director in 2009-2011 - during the presidency of Barack Obama.�
