The former fast bowler has posted his playing old days picture and urged people to save their lives and the lives of their loved ones by wearing masks and social distance.
LAHORE: (UrduPoint/Pakistan Point News-May 6th 2021) former fast bowler Shoaib Akhtar has appealed people to wear masks and ensure social distancing amid increasing cases of COVID-19.
Taking to Instagram, Shoaib Akhtar posted his old picture and asked the people to save their lives and lives of others by wearing masks and by ensuring social distancing.
In urdu message, Shoaib Akhtar said: “Mask pehn lain, social distancing rakh lain. Bacha lain zindagi apnay buzurgo ki aur baro ki aur apni bhi [wear masks, follow social distancing, save lives of your elders and yourself],”.
Pakistan reported 108 more deaths due to COVID-19 during last 24 hours.
The Official figures showed that 4,198 new positive cases of Coronavirus infection surfaced in different parts of the country during the same period.
According to the fresh statistics issued by National Command and Operation Centre, 46,467 tests were conducted and positivity ratio remained nine point zero three percent.
