ISLAMABAD, (Pakistan Point News – 20th March, 2017) : The Islamabad High Court (IHC) acquitted former Federal Minister for Religious Affairs Hamid Saeed Kazmi on hajj corruption case. Hajj corruption case was led by Justice Mohsin Akhtar Kiyani in Islamabad High Court. The court accepted the appeals and gave exoneration orders for former religious affairs minister Hamid Saeed Kazmi, former director general (DG) Haj Rao Shakeel and former religious affairs joint secretary Aftabul islam. Hamid Saeed Kazmi was sentenced to 16 years in prison, however IHC acquitted him on Monday.
