Hague, (Pakistan Point News – 30th July, 2016) : Security has been high alert in Amsterdam, the capital city of Netherlands. The Dutch military police has enhanced the security on the roads toward Amsterdam Airport Schiphol on Saturday morning due to a terror threat which caused traffic jams along the road. The municipality of Haarlemmermeer has enhanced the security measures with the coordination of Dutch National Coordinator for Security and Counter terrorism (NCTV).
The municipality in a press release stated, "The signal suits the current threat level of substantial. Measures, visible and invisible, are being taken." Dutch military police, the Royal Marechaussee, checked almost all cars on the close ways to Schiphol and was alert in the airport. The checks caused long traffic jams and some people decided to walk to the airport. The recent significant terrorist threat level in the Netherlands depicts that there can be a chance of a real terrorist attack.
