Afghan Taliban Capture An Important City Of Afghanistan

Kandhar,(Pakistan Point News - 30 July,2016) : According to Afghan Officials an important district in Afghanistan's poppy-growing Province of Helmand after heavy fighting has fallen under Taliban control. In fighting 17 police-men were killed and 10 others were wounded. The director of Helmand's provincial council, Kareem Atal, said that Taliban militants attacked a series of police checkpoints Friday night as part of a larger assault in the Kanashin district. Earlier, his deputy, Abdul Majeed Akhonzada, told The Associated Press that Kanashin district has "fallen into Taliban hands.
