Hamad Saeed Sultan Al Shamsi, UAE Ambassador to Lebanon, hosted on Friday a luncheon in honour of a number of Lebanese religious, political, parliamentarian, and media figures including Sheikh Zaid Bakkar Zakaria Mufti of Akkar; Sheikh Khalil Almees Mufti of Zahle and Beqaa; Sheikh Hassan Dalli, Mufti of Hasbaya and Marjeyoun, Sheikh Khaldoun Arimat Head of the Islamic Centre for Studies and Media in Beirut; Mouin Maroubi, Lebanese Minister of State for Displaced Persons, and Qassim Abdul-Aziz, former member of the Lebanese Parliament.

Hamad Saeed Sultan Al Shamsi, UAE Ambassador to Lebanon, inaugurated the 'UAE Tank' project in the town of Badnayel Al Koura, under the patronage of Saad Al Hariri, Prime Minister of Lebanon, and funded by the Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation, as part of the Year of Zayed.
