Tokyo, July (پاکستان پوائنٹ نیوز 28 يوليو 2026ء) Within the framework of the Japan–Saudi Strategic Partnership, both sides affirmed their determination to continue strengthening bilateral relations in a wide range of fields, including political affairs, security, energy, and advanced technologies. They agreed that Japan and Saudi Arabia would continue to work closely together.
They also exchanged views on regional and international issues of common interest, including the situation in the middle East, particularly developments in the Red Sea, as well as the Indo-Pacific.
Regarding the situation in the Middle East, the two sides stressed the importance of immediate de-escalation and ensuring freedom and safety of navigation through the Strait of Hormuz without incurring any additional charges.
