Islamic Affairs Minister Launches New Phase, Regulatory Guide for 46th King Abdulaziz International Quran Competition

Riyadh, July (پاکستان پوائنٹ نیوز ‎‎‎ 28 يوليو 2026ء) The competition aims to encourage Muslim men and women to engage with the Holy Quran through memorization, understanding, and contemplation; foster a spirit of fair competition among Quran memorizers; strengthen young people's connection to the Holy Quran; and highlight the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's leading role and efforts in serving, teaching, and caring for the Holy Quran and its memorizers.

Reflecting the competition's continued development, this edition has recorded the largest prize pool since its launch, totaling SAR10,260,000. The competition includes five categories: memorizing the entire Holy Quran according to seven recitations; memorizing the entire Holy Quran along with interpreting its vocabulary; memorizing the entire Holy Quran; memorizing 15 parts; and memorizing five consecutive parts.
