Riyadh, July (پاکستان پوائنٹ نیوز 22 يوليو 2026ء) The members reviewed progress made across CCE's five focus areas: the Macroeconomic Impact of Cybersecurity; Cybersecurity Workforce Development; Cyber Insurance and Risk Mitigation; Resilience Metrics for Sectors and Industries to Reduce Economic Risk; and Quantifying the Economic Impact of Cyber Incidents.
CCE Managing Director Alaa AlFaadhel noted that the economic impact of cybersecurity is becoming increasingly important for governments, businesses, and societies worldwide. Through rigorous research, cross-sector international collaboration, and evidence-based analysis, CCE is helping build a stronger understanding of these dynamics to support more informed policy and investment decisions.
The CCE Executive Committee brings together leaders and decision-makers from across the world, including senior representatives from government, international organizations, academia, and the private sector. The Executive Committee members are Governor of the National Cybersecurity Authority (NCA) in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Majed Al-Mazyed, President of Korea internet and Security Agency (KISA) Lee Sang-Joong, First National Cyber Director at the White House Chris Inglis, Chief Executive Officer of the Saudi Information Technology Company (SITE) Dr. Saad Alaboodi, Chief Economist for Infrastructure at the World Bank Dr. Stéphane Straub, Senior Fellow of the Center for Geoeconomic Studies at the Council on Foreign Relations Heidi Crebo-Rediker, Professor of Cyber Security at the University of Oxford Sadie Creese, Former Emerging Markets Editor and Anchor at CNN John Defterios, Co-Chair of the World Economic Forum Global Future Council on Cybersecurity Öykü Işık, Chief Executive Officer of the Global Cybersecurity Forum Abdurahman AlHassan, Head of the World Economic Forum Centre for Cybersecurity Akshay Joshi, and Managing Director of CCE Alaa AlFaadhel.
