The recognition follows a year in which the committee successfully managed several major football tournaments. These included the AFC U23 Asian Cup Saudi Arabia 2026™, the AFC Champions League Elite Finals Jeddah 2026™, and the AFC U17 Asian Cup Saudi Arabia 2026™, as well as the official draws for the AFC Asian Cup Saudi Arabia 2027™ and the 27th Arabian Gulf Cup, "Khaleeji 27."
