Al-Baha, July (پاکستان پوائنٹ نیوز 18 يوليو 2026ء) Developed and maintained by Al-Qura Municipality, the park is located about 31 kilometers north of Al-Baha city and spans more than 128,000 square meters. It includes over 19,000 square meters of green spaces and around 850 trees, creating a natural setting that enhances its appeal.
The park features an open-air theater with seating for 600 people, a children's theater accommodating more than 150 visitors, 30 children's play facilities, 30 seating areas for visitors, and 12 service facilities designed to complement the site's natural surroundings and enhance the visitor experience.
It also includes 17 shaded structures distributed throughout the park, four restroom facilities for men and women, a comprehensive lighting system, sports facilities, and dedicated children's recreation areas, providing a welcoming environment for families and visitors.
Development work continues with the construction of an elevated roadway offering panoramic views of the surrounding landscape, the expansion of shaded areas and seating spaces, and a new road allowing direct views of Wadi Al-Baida Dam. These enhancements aim to further strengthen the park's attractions and reinforce its status as one of Al-Qura Governorate's leading tourist parks.
Tharwa National Park continues to attract growing numbers of citizens and residents during the summer season, benefiting from the region's mild weather, mountainous landscape, and a variety of accompanying events catering to all age groups, contributing to tourism activity across Al-Baha Region.
