Riyadh, July (پاکستان پوائنٹ نیوز 02 يوليو 2026ء) The delegation was led by Director of the Regional Programme Philipp Dienstbier and included several German parliamentary staff members, alongside a number of experts.
Al-Mutairi welcomed the delegation and gave an overview of the council, including its legislative and oversight responsibilities, as well as its working mechanism for reviewing matters referred to its specialized committees.
He also highlighted the council’s role in issuing decisions that support national development and in strengthening parliamentary diplomacy through closer ties with regional and international parliaments and legislative councils.
The meeting also explored opportunities to expand bilateral cooperation in several areas to serve mutual interests and discussed a number of issues of common concern.
