Astana, July (پاکستان پوائنٹ نیوز 02 يوليو 2026ء) The discussions focused on Kazakhstan's transport sector modernization agenda, including strengthening multimodal connectivity, logistic services, regional trade corridors, and developing climate-resilient transport infrastructure.
Al Jasser praised Kazakhstan's vision to enhance transport connectivity as a driver of economic growth and regional integration, as well as to strengthen cooperation between Asia and Europe.
The meeting also reviewed the strategic Kyzylorda-Saksaulsk corridor project, a key initiative to strengthen regional connectivity and reinforce Kazakhstan's role as a regional transit and logistics hub.
During the meeting, a memorandum of understanding was signed to support the preparation of the Kyzylorda-Saksaulsk republican road project, paving the way for potential financing of up to $1.4 billion from the IsDB Group.
The agreement establishes a framework for cooperation on joint transport infrastructure projects, promoting safe, resilient, and well-connected infrastructure while supporting regional connectivity and sustainable economic growth.
