Jeddah, June (پاکستان پوائنٹ نیوز 30 يونيو 2026ء) The second day's program featured specialized sessions and panel discussions addressing the key challenges and opportunities facing the global water sector, with a focus on water security, innovation, investment, governance, strategic partnerships, and best practices in water resources management.
Activities began with a high-level CEO plenary session examining the latest regulatory, operational, and investment developments in the water sector. Subsequent sessions explored water financing, water for people and nature, water governance and diplomacy, innovation in water management, and the value of water, fostering shared perspectives on the sector's future.
The program also included a youth session highlighting the role of future generations in developing innovative solutions to water challenges.
Regional sessions covering the Arab region, Asia-Pacific, the Americas, and Africa explored shared challenges and opportunities while exchanging successful practices in water resource management and strengthening water security.
The second day concluded with an integrated pathways dialogue reviewing the day's key outcomes, followed by the closing of the Second Stakeholder Consultation Meeting, which presented key recommendations in preparation for the Kingdom's hosting of the 11th World Water Forum in Riyadh in 2027.
