The Saudi Energy Efficiency Center has launched a public consultation project titled ‘Technical Regulations for Energy Efficiency Requirements in the Utilities Sector for the Second Cycle (2026-2030),' which aims to set the technical energy efficiency requirements for the utilities sector for the second cycle (2026-2030), including the mechanisms for their implementation, monitoring, and compliance verification, and to define the related roles and responsibilities to support compliance with the approved targets. Public feedback on the project will be accepted until July 24, 2026.
