AlUla, June (پاکستان پوائنٹ نیوز 27 يونيو 2026ء) The closing ceremony featured participating teams presenting their innovative projects and solutions before the judging panel across key tracks, including tourist accommodation, tour guiding, support services, and tourism experiences. Winning projects were announced based on criteria such as innovation, feasibility, and expected impact.
The tourism hackathon series in AlUla is part of a nationwide program held across eight cities: Riyadh, Makkah, Taif, Qassim, Hail, AlUla, Jeddah, and Al-Khobar. Since 2024, the program has attracted more than 800 registrants, with over 530 participants developing more than 125 startup projects and resulting in more than 50 commercial registrations.
The Tourism Growth Center offers entrepreneurs and SMEs a range of support programs including hackathons, accelerators, incubators, and training camps, alongside digital services. The center has directly benefited more than 14,000 individuals, graduated more than 250 startups, created more than 2,000 job opportunities, and facilitated investment rounds exceeding SAR80 million.
