Al-Bukayriyah, June (پاکستان پوائنٹ نیوز 27 يونيو 2026ء) The preparations included the development of 32 parks and recreational areas and 48 public squares, covering a total area of more than 2.8 million square meters. The municipality also upgraded pedestrian walkways and running tracks extending over 36,000 meters, equipped 35 sports fields and 80 children’s playgrounds, and maintained more than 600,000 square meters of green spaces. These efforts are part of ongoing initiatives to improve the urban landscape, enhance public services, and encourage recreational and sporting activities.
In line with service and facility improvements, the municipality also strengthened irrigation, maintenance, and cleaning operations, prepared 35 public restrooms, maintained and operated 1,129 lighting poles, and continued the care of 1,400 palm trees and more than 60,000 trees across parks and recreational areas.
