Geneva, June (پاکستان پوائنٹ نیوز 24 يونيو 2026ء) The meeting discusses strategic directions for social insurance and pension systems worldwide, challenges facing the sector, innovative practices in social protection and pensions, and sustainability issues linked to demographic and economic changes.
GOSI's participation takes place in its capacity as a permanent member of the ISSA Executive Bureau and as chair of the Technical Commission on Old-Age, Invalidity and Survivors’ Insurance, reflecting Saudi Arabia’s role in shaping international social security policies.
The meeting, which brings together representatives of social security and pension institutions from more than 40 countries, serves as a key international forum for guiding the ISSA’s work and setting its strategic priorities.
It also provides a platform for exchanging knowledge and expertise and showcasing innovative social protection and social insurance practices to help strengthen systems and enhance their future readiness.
On the sidelines of the ISSA proceedings, the GOSI governor will also participate in a number of bilateral meetings to discuss key global trends shaping the future of social insurance and social protection systems, and to exchange views on challenges and opportunities related to strengthening the sustainability of social protection systems and their ability to adapt to demographic and economic changes.
