Moroni, June (پاکستان پوائنٹ نیوز 23 يونيو 2026ء) The launch was attended by Director of the Office of the President of the Union of the Comoros in charge of defense Youssoufa Mohamed Ali, IMCTC Director of Intellectual Affairs Dr. Mansour Al-Qarni, several civilian and military officials, 30 trainees specializing in rehabilitation and reintegration, and officials from relevant entities in the Union of the Comoros.
Held from June 22 to 26, 2026, the program is part of IMCTC’s efforts to build the national capacities of member states to prevent extremism and strengthen rehabilitation and reintegration programs. It covers six main themes: the nature of the crime of terrorism; concepts of rehabilitation and reintegration; the model framework for rehabilitation and reintegration programs; the fundamentals of designing specialized programs; the scientific foundations of rehabilitation and reintegration; and the challenges associated with implementing these programs.
The program aims to equip participants with the knowledge and skills needed to develop and implement rehabilitation and social reintegration programs, helping address the effects of extremist ideology and terrorist behavior and enhancing the capacity of national institutions to reintegrate beneficiaries into their communities effectively and sustainably.
